Is there a "pro-cancer" perspective? (sorry, couldn't resist).

Awesome news KO. I didn't expect you would hear so soon but that is also great...waiting sucks.

well, he is a DOCTOR, afterall! and the comment was really because the rest of the bodily response to the chemo has been not so great - m blood counts are in the toilet. Not transfusion, but uh, close enough to potentially stop the chemo for a while.

Great news overall - tell those blood cells that they better get their act together cause without you they are nothing.... worse than nothing ... so if they know just what is good for them they had better get their act together!!! They like you (and the rest of us) are in this together so they better get bumping up those counts! All kidding aside - wonderful that you have such positive news so quickly. And Paddy is right - waiting sucks. Everything is a balancing act so hopefully they hit the right chemo dosage that kicks ass without laying you too low. Did you ever in your wildest dreams (OPPS make that nightmares) think that your body would be a battle ground. Get those ground forces to rally around the flag for pete's (and all of our)sake(s).
