You are both amazing - an inspiration to so many people - many of whom you may not even know - but know you both through Kate's blog. You have, and continue to, provide a real (and sometimes painful, always realistic yet still somehow hopeful) look into what is the ebb and flow, the ups and downs of living with cancer. You are showing how it can be done - with out flinching from the hard truths but always, always facing it head on. And you are doing it with a level of class and dignity that many of us only hope we can muster. One of the most important things we can do in life is to make sure that the people we care about, who have made a real difference in our lives know just how much they mean to us - so Kate and Michael - THANK YOU - you have made my journey much more bearable. You have shown me how one can face, deal and conquer (yes conquer) adversity (and I am sure that I am not alone in this). Thank you, thank you, thank you. I wish you both peace. And to quote Haidah - FUCK CANCER - sadly, it seems we still have some way to go. We will get there - rest assured of that - we will continue to fight it - after all - you would expect nothing less of us - right!!?? Lynne

Michael, I echo everything said here. Just wanted to write in to add my chorus of thanks, of hugs, to say what an incredible twosome you are, fighting this, managing everyone's concern, worry, expectations, want of knowledge. Bless you, your family, especially the kids and our amazing Kate. Please give her a gentle squeeze from me and all of those who admire and love her......
